How to obtain independent Iowa caucus results

The Democratic party hasn’t yet released official results for the Iowa caucus. However, anyone who has a list of Iowa voters should be able to obtain an accurate count of the caucuses. The results were public for people, who attended the caucus. So, everyone who attended should have seen the final results.

If you just sent an email or text to voters in every caucus, you could just ask them what the result was. If a few people from each caucus reply, that should be enough to cross-validate the results. Then, you can just total up the results, and have an independent total.

The campaigns all have lists of voters, and so it should be relatively easy for any campaign to undertake this. Bernie Sanders has released the results from their precinct captains in about 40% of precincts. Pollsters should also have the necessary contact information to do this relatively easily. Will anyone step up and get the results? Should we wait for and trust the official results? When will that be out?
